Judy Lindsay, PT, CEO and Founder

Judy founded beyond therapy pediatric
group because of her passion and commitment to serving the unique needs of children and their families.
Her vision has become a reality through beyond therapy, which is a premier group of professionals dedicated to improving
the quality of life for all children! Judy is a native Mississippian. She graduated from the University
of Mississippi Medical Center with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1993 and a Bachelor of Science degree in
Psychology from the University of Southern MS in 1991. Early in her career, Judy primarily worked with patients
that had suffered neurological insults, such as, strokes and traumatic brain injuries. Her practice in pediatrics has spanned
over 12 years and she is trained specifically with medically fragile infants and young children. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy
Association (APTA), the Section on Pediatrics, Private Practice Section and Health Policy and Administration Section. Judy serves in national leadership as
Chair of the APTA's Pediatric Section - Payment Policy and Advocacy Committee. Her appointment is for 3 years
and comes during a very critical time of Health Care Reform. She presented on Direct Access in Pediatrics at
APTA's Annual Conference at National Harbor, MD and has composed consumer guides for APTA's MoveForward website, www.moveforwardpt.com. She is also honored to be selected as one of "Mississippi's 50
Leading Business Women for the class of 2009" by the MS Business Journal. Judy and her daughter, Emily,
enjoy domestic and international traveling, cooking and supporting the visual and performing arts. She also
enjoys spending time with her beloved Tri-Color Cavaliers, Charlie and Sophie!
Beth Woodcock, PT and Director of Clinical Operations
and Partner

Beth is a Physical
Therapist whose passion is enhancing families’ lives who have children with special needs. She believes
that every child has potential for greatness. She believes that families are truly the lifeline for children
and are the most important people in their lives. She sees her role as Physical Therapist as a coach, supporter,
educator, and motivator. Beth has worked in pediatrics for the past 15 years in the Jackson area.
Her primary experience is with training on care after NICU, Early Intervention (ages 0-3 years), and has had many wonderful
opportunities to work with the experts in this field from around the nation. She has training in NDT, SI,
MFR, Routine-Based Therapies and Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment and Treatment. Beth worked as
a therapist and trainer for Mississippi’s Early Intervention Program for 10 years.
She served as Team Leader for Willo-TEAM and as Therapy Coordinator in her previous employment. Beth
is a Pediatric Clinical Instructor for the Physical Therapy program at UMC. In
the Spring of 2010, Beth was appointed as the Pediatric State Representative for the American Physical Therapy Association!
She is a Partner of BTPG. Beth is
a member of St. James Episcopal church where she serves as a Catechist/Sunday School Teacher for children 6-9 years of age.
She is also the mother of 2 girls, so she truly has the pleasure of spending most of her time among God’s children.
Susannah Reynolds Silvia MCD, CCC-SLP
and Partner

Susannah came
to beyond therapy pediatric group after H. Katrina. Often when one door shuts, another opens. Beyond Therapy
Pediatric Group has been blessed by the presence of Susannah, who specializes in providing comprehensive speech
and language services for preschool and school-age children. She has advanced training in Infant and Pediatric
Feeding disorders. She became interested in pediatric during an internship at New Orleans Speech and Hearing
in Louisiana. She loved the age group and the amount of progress that she saw with the children. Susannah
received her B.A in communication disorders from Louisiana State University in 2003 and her Master in Communication Disorders
from LSU Health Science Center in 2005. Susannah has extensive clinical
experience with articulation disorders, language disorders, phonological processing, auditory processing, and feeding/swallowing
disorders. She
is a member of the Mississippi, Louisiana, and American Speech-Language-Hearing Associations. Susannah enjoys pilates,
yoga and traveling in her spare time. Susannah became a Partner in BTPG in January 2010! Her most recent accomplishment
is becoming the mother of a new baby girl.
Kecia Ray, OTR/L, SIPT Certified

Kecia is a certified Occupational Therapist whose primary area of
expertise is working with children with Sensory Integration Dysfunction. She is one of only a handful of therapists
who are certified to administer the Sensory Integration Praxis Test or SIPT.

Kristin Owens, MOTR/L

Kristen
graduated from UMC with her Master's in Occupational Therapy in May 2009. She has practiced in the areas of
NICU, child and adult Acute Care as well as Follow-Up Developmental Clinic. Kristen joined Beyond Therapy in February
2010 and brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to our group. She especially enjoys working with neonates, infants
and toddlers to bring about the best outcomes for children regardless of their challenges. She enjoys working with the
families to promote their child's development skills and assisting families in overcoming difficulties they often face. Kristen and her husband live at Twin Lakes in Florence, where they enjoy ministering to children that
attend the camp! She and her husband are actively involved with the youth ministry at Redeemer Church.

Emily Winter, MOTR/L Emily is originally from Memphis, Tennessee where she graduated
with her Masters from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center's Occupational Therapy program, in May of 2010. Prior
to attending OT school, she studied Clinical Exercise Physiology at Mississippi State University. Emily started working with
Beyond Therapy Pediatric Group in June of 2011. She enjoys learning more about her profession and the needs of her clients
in order to provide the best quality of care. She has always enjoyed working with children and their families, and she looks
forward to helping children attain functional skills to participate in their various environments and make a difference in
the lives of others. She and her husband are currently residing in Madison, MS with their dog, Lucie.
Beth Vanderloo M.S., CCC-SLP

Beth received her undergraduate degree in Speech-Language
Pathology from Delta State University in 1989. She earned her Masters of Science degree in Communicative
Disorders from the University of Mississippi in 1993. Beth has extensive pediatric experience in the
evaluation and treatment of speech, language and swallowing disorders. Currently, Beth is working towards certification
inTalkTools-Oral Placement Therapy. Beth is a member of The Mississippi Speech and Hearing Association
and The American Speech and Hearing Association. Beth serves on the Board of Directors of Central MS Down Syndrome Society.
Beth is the mother of 3 beautiful young children.
Peggy
Pruitt, MS, CCC-SLP

Peggy
is originally from Cleveland , MS where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology from Delta State University.
She then attended USM where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology in 1990. She
has provided speech services in a variety of settings in Mississippi and as a traveling speech therapist throughout the U.S.
Peggy is vital stim certified and especially enjoys working with swallowing and feeding disorders. She
also enjoys traveling with her family, art, cooking, and being a Girl Scout leader.
Meggie Butler, MS CCC-SLP

Jessica
Conner, MS, CCC-SLP

Jessica is a native of Quitman, MS. She received her Bachelor’s
degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2008. She went on to
obtain her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology in 2009 from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg.
During graduate school, Jessica was an assistant at The Children’s Center for Communication Disorders at USM.
Jessica has clinical experience with articulation disorders, fluency disorders, language disorders, and feeding/swallowing
disorders. She especially enjoys working with language disorder. She has always had
a special place in her heart for children, which was a great influence in choosing her profession. Jessica
also enjoys spending time with friends and family, shopping, cooking, and reading.
Lorie Naef, LCSW

Lorie is a master’s
level social worker with over 30yrs. of experience in the field of developmental disabilities and chronic illness in children.
She is licensed at the LCSW level. She received her undergraduate degree in social work and psychology
from Miss. State University in 1975 and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Tennessee in Nashville
in 1978. Lorie has worked in a variety of settings, including a school for children with severe disabilities
and two state institutions for adults with intellectual disabilities. She was part of the original team that developed the
First Steps Program, a system of statewide services for children ages 0-3yrs. with disabilities. Lorie
has worked in all aspects of the Batson Children’s Hospital as a social worker, including the NICU, PICU, emergency
room, and patient wards. Lorie was part of the Child Development Clinic at UMC from 1992-2011. She
is well-versed in the needs of families whose children have special needs. Lorie provides play therapy,
behavior therapy and parent training for children ages 3yr to 15yr. who have emotional and/or behavioral problems due to a
developmental disability and/or chronic illness. She has a particular interest in the treatment of anxiety
disorders, language-based disorders, and executive function disorders such as ADHD and Asperger’s disorder.NOTE: Ms. Naef is not available for forensic
evaluations, custody determination, or for the treatment of child abuse.
Lorie has been
married for 36yrs. She and her husband have two wonderful daughters, one an opera singer and one a social worker. Lorie
is a member of the National Association of Social Workers as well as CHADD: Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity
Disorder. The light of her life is her grand-son, born 12/10/2010! Besides playing
with him Lorie enjoys singing with Concordia Choir at Galloway United Methodist Church, Yoga Over 50 class at Butterfly Yoga,
and water aerobics.
